Evidence

I am a musician, sound artist, and Museum Director at Crab Museum. With over 13 years of experience across sculpture, sound art, music, improvisation, experimental luthier, and field recording, my practice bridges creative disciplines to create unique acoustic instruments.

Instrument building offers a deeply personal form of expression. My creative process centres on designing instruments, blending artistic, scientific, and cultural research. I explore the historical and anthropological significance of instruments, exploring them as profound human artefacts.

Through sound exploration, material-based sculpture, and kinaesthetic awareness, I craft instruments that inspire deep listening experiences. My work investigates how improvisation fosters unexpected sonic interactions, while embodied listening establishes alternative forms of communication between performers and audiences.
